Prologue - A Seer's TaleThe room was small, rotting and bleak; there were no windows and only one door. A curtain of the deepest red, to one side fell, rotten and damp at the edges. Behind it lay a small rickety cot, made of pieces of various other creations that certainly were not beds in their day. Opposite was a pathetic little cooking area, consisting of a counter with a travelling-hob resting upon it, and a cutting board beside. Small peels littered the surface, a few insects scuttling by, at home in the shadows. The only light quivered over the centre of the room, barely illuminating a small chair that may have been comfortable once. And in this chair she sat,Prologue - A Seer's Tale
